There are many issues confronting Americans today that all have a potential impact on the survival of America as a republic.
We have chosen several of the most critical issues that threaten America's future. They are:
- Education
- The Economy
- Health Care
- Agenda 21
- Immigration
- The Second Amendment
- The Fourth Amendment
Why these particular issues? Historically, issues like these have had a hand in ending republics. An uneducation electorate, for example, is more likely to withstand changes that lead to tyranny. The removal of guns from citizens have historically preceded tyrannical efforts from governments, attempts at genocide and war.
It has recently become quite clear that Americans, and perhaps others, should have a different expectation of privacy than traditionally, with numerous government programs (e.g. "Prism") collecting data from email, instant messages, tweets, etc.
In the modern era, lack of controls on immigration ("open borders") are threatening the sovereignty of a country, as is the "globalization" of countries through the United Nations efforts, including but not limited to Agenda 21.
Our hope at America 101 is that our web site and our events help shine light on the above issues, and stimulate your own inquiry into these issues, in a way that helps promote an intelligent and uniquely American conversation that can lead to solutions.
